Ah, hello and welcome.

Before a person makes a friend, they must, in my opinion, know a little about the person they are befriending. That's where this blog comes in.

Right, well, when I was born (keep reading, don't worry, I'm not saring my life story) my mother rather liked the name ----- (I'll give you a star if you figure out what that name was), but for internet purposes I shall be called Viv. Yes, that's right, Viv, as in Vivian, as in Pretty Woman, one of my favourite films.
Ah, look! You already know three things about me!

Along with Pretty Woman I enjoyed Babel, Man About The House, Hotel Rwanda, Sophie Scholl, Sicko and The World's Fastest Indian. I supose I enjoy other films also, but my memory fails me, as it does on various occasions, and I cannot list them.
While we are in the motion picture category, I should also explain what t.v shows I like, shouldn't I? Well, I'm going to be different and let you guess.

Yet again, you will discover one of my interests: literature. That's just a facy term for "I like to read" really. I love books, whether they are science-fiction or medieval fantasy; fiction or non-fiction; ancient times or modern; romance or action; drama or comedy.
I am currently on a journey of self-enlightenment. Well, in other words, I'm trying to read all the books classed as classics. So far I've read To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice and I am currently reading Jane Eyre. Yes, I have a long way to go.

Well, I believe I've rambled on quite enough. If you feel like guessing an interest of mine, or sharing some of your own, don't be afraid to speak up.
